I woke ready to walk, and while it wasn’t the usual 3.5 mile each way that I experienced in NYC, Ripley and I ventured out for two solid miles around the nearby park. She ran through her usual routine: chasing rabbits, rolling in the grass and meandering off the path.

We resumed our normal family activities, all wrapped by an even read with our girls. This evening Ellie was paired with me. Smiles abound!
